We have begun shipping Procare v10 to customers who wish to convert their existing Version 9 data!
Here are some thoughts that might help you prepare for your own transition:


Installation

  • Before you become engaged with data conversion, please take the time necessary to get v10 fully installed on your computer network. The v10 "Getting Started Guide" has details (page 1, "Installing Procare"). This guide will be shipped with your v10 program or you may Download a User Guide.

Data Preparation

  • Here's a reference point for the data conversion process: Data Conversion Learn More.  As you explore these pages you'll find tips for ensuring that your Version 9 data is converted. You may wish to practice, by entering sample data in Procare v10, prior to going "live" or prior to converting your information from Procare 9.1. You may also wish to review "Frequent Conversion Questions" on this same page to review what items are brought over in the data conversion process.

The Rollout Schedule

  • While we can’t determine exactly when you’ll receive your order, we are shipping based on the date the order was placed, beginning with April 2009.

    Please see the following Schedule:
    Orders placed in April/May/June/July/August/September should receive their software in November.
    Orders placed in October should receive their software in December.
    Orders placed in November should receive their software in early January.

    We appreciate your patience during this extremely busy time for us; we are diligently working on shipping orders as swiftly as possible.

  • Remember, v10 program modules for Payroll, Accounts Payable and General Ledger will be included in a later release. Centers licensed for these modules, who wish to convert their existing data from these modules will implement v10 at that time.
  • Hardware Hint: If your v10 order includes any hardware items, such as the Procare Time Clock Touch, they will arrive in a separate shipment directly from the distributor at roughly the same time as your software order.
  • Data Hosting: We will be holding orders of customers that wish to have their data hosted by Procare until the Data Hosting Service is completed in late December.
