My Procare Story

Episcopal Children’s Services, founded in 1966, is the largest not-for-profit child services organization serving children ages birth to five in Northeast Florida. We offer a variety of programs in eight counties, including Head Start, Nutrition, School Readiness, and we also operate our own Early Learning Centers. Last year, we were able to serve over 27,000 children and families in Northeast Florida.

At ECS, we have been using Procare Software for over 4 years. Procare is used not only at our Early Learning Centers, but also within our Fiscal Department. Millette Welch, staff accountant at ECS, explains that Procare is very user friendly, providing flexibility and simplicity with the Child Care Billing set up and system. Procare also provides excellent Tech Support. They take the time to walk you through problems and always provide quick responses to problem queries.

Our Early Childhood Centers focus on early literacy skills and school readiness. We believe better lives start with better beginnings. Both of our Early Childhood Learning Centers, Exchange South and YMCA DuPont offer full day, quality early education for children ages five and under. Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten for four year old children is also available. In addition, we developed our own School Readiness curriculum that focuses on the fundamental elements of learning including; curiosity, initiative, persistence, reasoning, and problem solving.
