What is Data Hosting?
Data hosting lets you access information for your child-centered business from any Procare computer (home, center, laptop, etc.) with a high speed internet connection. Storing the data and making it accessible only to you, is known as "hosting".
What is the cost of Data Hosting?
With your investment in Procare you may add the Data Hosting service for just $20 per month (per Family Data Module). Note: Includes 2 Seats ($5.00 each additional seat). There is a one time set up fee: $45.

How is your server farm setup?
We host/operate our own hardware with dedicated IT staff. Hardware includes state of the art hardware, Windows Server 2008 R2, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and accompanying suites behind layered hardware and software Security measures.
Are there redundant power supplies?
Our servers have Triple Power supplies, backed up by battery power and
a 600 AMP Caterpillar Diesel Generator.
What kind of bandwidth will be coming in?
Our server facility offers Top level Connections through Qwest, Sprint, 360 Networks in addition to two regional Fiber rings.
What are you using for securing and backing up data?
We use an SSL-VPN appliance for encrypted connectivity. Each client has a unique User ID and Password. Users have access only to their database.
Our servers are in a Fail-Over Cluster with an 8G FC SAN configuration utilizing, Raid 1(mirror) for the Operating System and Raid 10(Mirrored Striped disks pairs) for SQL Data and Logs files. We will utilize backup to disc technology for daily backups.
What is the recommended bandwidth from our location?
bandwidth for hosted data: 1.5 mbs/1,500 kbps (download) and 512 kbps (upload). Wireless AirCards® (3G, 4G, etc.) are NOT supported.
If classroom cameras or other devices/programs share your bandwidth you may not have enough "available" bandwidth for Procare to run effectively. Make sure you have enough total bandwidth to accommodate all your needs.
Data Hosting Billing FAQ
How will I be billed?
Prepay for the entire year.
You will receive an invoice on an annual basis, detailing your Data Hosting Monthly Fees for 12 months, due 30 days from date of invoice. You may send payment via Check, Money Order, Credit Card Authorization, etc.
Monthly credit card payment.
Payments will process automatically to the credit card on file on the 2nd business day each month. Payment by check is not an option as Data Hosting Fees are not invoiced on a monthly basis.
How will I know if there are service outages or scheduled site maintenance?
We ask for email addresses when your service is first activated. All Data Hosting information is emailed to the Service Contacts as specified on the Data Hosting Terms and Conditions.
How do I inform Procare of Service Contact changes?
As a Data Hosted Client, the ability to quickly communicate with you is important. We have developed an easy way for you to manage the email addresses of the people within your organization.

How will Procare inform me if there is an issue processing my Monthly Fees?
All important Data Hosting notifications are sent via email – to the contacts specified by your organization. We send Card Expiration Warning emails the month prior to the expiration date on your card. We send email notices when we are unable to process the payment due to declines, or expiration issues. We attempt to process Monthly Fees three times before your service is affected. The specified Service Contact for “Billing” notices will receive an email each time the payment is declined, with an Account Update form attached to each email. You just print it out, complete it, and return it to the fax number at the bottom of the page.
