What is Data Hosting?
Data hosting lets you access information for your child-centered business from any Procare computer (home, center, laptop, etc.) with a high speed internet connection. Storing the data and making it accessible only to you, is known as "hosting".
What is the cost of Data Hosting?
With your investment in Procare you may add the Data Hosting service for just $20 per month (per Family Data Module). Note: Includes 2 Seats ($5.00 each additional seat). There is a one time set up fee: $45.

How is your server farm setup?
We host/operate our own hardware with dedicated IT staff. Hardware includes state of the art hardware, Windows Server 2008, Microsoft SQL Server 2008 and accompanying suites behind layered hardware and software SPAM and Security measures.
Are there redundant power supplies?
Our servers have Triple Power supplies, backed up by battery power
and a 600 AMP Caterpillar Diesel Generator.
What kind of bandwidth will be coming in?
Our server facility offers Top level Connections through Qwest, Sprint, 360 Networks in addition to two regional Fiber rings.
What are you using for securing and backing up data?
We use an SSL-VPN appliance for encrypted connectivity. Each client has a unique User ID and Password. Users have access only to their database.
Our servers are in a mirror configuration utilizing a Raid 1(mirror) for the Operating System and Raid 5(Striped disks and with Parity) for SQL Data and Log files. We utilize backup to disc technology for daily backups.
What is the recommended bandwidth from our location?
Minimum bandwidth for hosted data: 1.5 mbs (download) and 512 kbs (upload).
