Partners In Learning

My ProCare Story

Hi, My name is Norma Honeycutt, I have been with Partners In Learning Child Development and Family Resource Center for the past 10 years. We began using ProCare Software about 8 years ago. Each year we have added a piece of the program. One of the best features has been the Attendance Count. This has allowed us to see how many children we have present at any given time. It has also made the Food Program counts easier and the computer now automatically bills families for overtime. I use the system to send messages to families which helps them to remember special events they used to forget much more frequently.

Partners In Learning was conceived in 1996 by a grassroots group of individuals that wanted to build a model center including typical, as well as children with special needs, and implement services that would enrich the lives of children and their families. Our organization serves children on-site at Partners In Learning, in child care centers throughout the community, as well as in the children’s homes. Partners In Learning has established a priority to develop a comprehensive, community-based, family-centered system of care to meet the needs of children with disabilities and their families. The system is a delicate web of family caregivers, community resources, providers, private payers and public programs.
