Within the industry, there is a need for professional development opportunities for teachers and staff that support finding and retaining employees, provide training for staff that are new to the child care industry, and help increase overall job satisfaction. There is also heightened pressure for child care centers to become a true early childhood education facility, requiring a good plan for child development.
