Newest Procare Trend Report on Child Care Attendance During the Pandemic Shows Reopenings Nationwide, State by State

Procare By: Procare

The onset of COVID-19 in the United States has led to a dramatic shift in the child care landscape.

Beginning in March 2020, many child care businesses were forced to close their doors to stem the spread of the virus.

By the next month, nationwide child care attendance reached a low point during the week of April 5, 2020 at just 13% of pre-coronavirus levels.

Procare Solutions has been researching and issuing regular industry trend reports to glean new information and insights into how child care centers across the country are beginning to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

Our most recent report, which you can download here, shows that as of July of this year, 73 percent of these centers that had closed nationwide had reopened their doors, as well as state-by-state figures.

With more than 35,000 customers, Procare Solutions, the leader in child care management software, can offer an important and unique perspective on the recovering state of the child care industry.

Keep an eye out for our next update, which will be released soon!
