So thank you again. We’re gonna go ahead and get started just by talking through the subject of today’s webinar, which is a director’s guide to content creation and social media marketing. Now just a few housekeeping things before we roll into it. First of all, do not worry. We can’t see or hear you during the webinar presentation. There’s no mics or cameras being used pick up anything happening with the audience, so don’t worry about that. Also, if you do have questions during this webinar, please feel free to drop them into our q and a box that you will find located in your console. You will not be able to see other folks’ questions, but we will be able to see your questions coming in there. And then at the end of our session today, we’ll have some time set aside so that we can actually do our best to go through and answer as many of those questions as we can when we wrap things up. If you run into any technical difficulties, if you’re having trouble with the video feed not working or audio is not coming through, couple things you can try is just refreshing your browser to see if that helps or even just making sure that all other software applications on your computer are closed, so that shouldn’t hopefully cause any interference with that. And then if for any reason you do have to drop or if you are in, if you know anybody who wanted to make it but wasn’t able to, if you are registered, we will follow-up and provide a recording of the webinar that you can view and share later. All right. Well, thanks so much. So, as we get rolling here, I’m excited to welcome our guests, but I did want to just share a couple things. If you are not familiar with ProCare Solutions and who we are what we do, for over thirty years, ProCare Solutions has worked and partnered with thousands and thousands of child care providers across the US. Today, over forty thousand child care providers actually use ProCare to help manage and automate many of their business systems. And the goal behind that is recognizing that there is so much happening in today’s world, and many people who are joining with us today, directors, owners, administrators of childhood education centers, in schools, we know that you have to wear a lot of hats, and there’s a lot of things that have to be done. ProCare works hard to do our best to alleviate those things by automating many systems for you, handling a lot of those administrative tasks, and then giving you the ability to spend more time going back to and nurturing young minds, which we know so many strive to do. So we recognize that technology has really come in leaps and bounds and is no longer a luxury item. It is something that is there to partner with you. And if you have further questions about ProCare after today’s webinar, please let us know and we’d love to follow-up with you on that. All right. Without further ado, I am super excited to announce and welcome our guest speaker today. You know him as the child care whisperer. He may be one of one limited edition, but he is always unlimited in the energy and wisdom that he brings with us each and every time. Please welcome Mr. Tai, the childcare whisperer. And I hope everyone is having a You’re good. Sorry, I was on audio delay for a second. I hear you now. My bad. Okay. Okay. No worries. I’m glad that everything is okay. So, thank everyone for being here. Mr. Zach, thank you for that, awesome introduction. And you all, I am going to go ahead and dive right into it. One thing that I wanna set as a prerequisite is that social media marketing, is not an option in today’s world, right? You must be present on all social media platforms. If you stop to think about how you know me, you know me via social media. And I’m gonna talk about that even more as we get ready to go into it, but just know that social media marketing is not an option. It is literally a necessity in today’s world and you need to be on every single platform that they have, all right? So now we’re gonna go ahead to the first point that I have and that first point is stop posting and start promote and start positioning. Okay, so what that means is that anyone can post pictures, right? That’s not hard to do. But the thing is when you are posting those pictures and those videos, are they converting, right? When they look at those things, those things should sell your business before anything else does. They should sell your team, they should sell your building, they should sell everything that needs to be said about your facility. Now here’s what I want to tell you about that. We also have to be very strategic about the quality that we are posting. Oftentimes when I am on social media, I can see that the pictures aren’t the best. I don’t know if you have an Android. That means you’re not on the right side of heaven. Alright? But if you that means that you you we need to have, Apple products that take good portrait pictures. We need to make sure that we are capturing what we are doing in the best light possible. So that means we’re going to have to invest, right? That means that this is an area in which we’re going to have to start putting some money in so that we can see a good return on that investment. I can tell you firsthand is that when you produce quality content, you get quality results. You can write that down, all right? Mr. Zach, you don’t have to turn because this is you can stay there. This my next point is parents don’t buy daycares, they buy peace of mind, right? I really want us to get away from using the word daycare. I really want us to stop doing that. And I know somebody may be asking how does that apply to marketing? Because you got to realize that when you are marketing yourself as that, you’ve already lowered your standard, right? But here’s what I want you to know. They want like, they want to see happy children. They want to see caring teachers. They want to see safe safe environments, and they wanna see real daily moments. So every single day, something should be captured that can go that you can post on your social media platform. Here’s what I need for you to know. Your reel should not be any longer than three minutes. Mr. Ty’s giving you some gems that he had to learn the hard way. It should not be, longer than three minutes. Right? And and on different platforms, different things work. What are you saying, mister Ty? If you’re on Facebook, you would do better with pictures on Facebook. Yes. Videos do well, but that is for an older audience. So therefore, if you’re trying to appeal to them, you should do more pictures. If you’re on Instagram or TikTok, those are videos. Now on TikTok, the videos can be longer, but make sure when you are posting, they see these things. Here’s what I want you to write down. Everything that you do should speak to a client’s five senses. What do they see? What do they hear? What do they feel? What do they smell? Okay, and what do they see? And yes, they can get all of those things from a post. That’s why I’m telling you to make sure you post correctly. The next thing before we go to the next point is you must post consistently. Okay? You must post consistently. As I am in the phases of opening up my new center, we’re coming down to the end. Right now we are posting sporadically, right? Things that we capture along the process, we’ll post. But once we get open, we already have the media schedule outlined. So if you don’t have that, I need for you to do that. You don’t have to post every day, but whatever days you decide to post, you need to be consistent in those posts. Your messaging should reflect just what you want them to know about your center. Show the cleanliness, show the structure, happy children, attentive teachers. Because parents want to feel assured. Leaders, if you’re on here and you’re not instruct you don’t have it in place for your A players to send out at least one thing from what they did in that room for that day, then we’re already behind. I know ProCare has ProCare Connect. I don’t know if you all use that. If you do at least once a day, something that they did in the classroom, be it reading a book during story time or be it circle time, it needs to be shown on social media, but most definitely sent out to the parents. All right. We can go to the next slide, Mr. Zak. The biggest marketing mistake directors make is to stop. Mr. Siddiqui, you can go to the next one. Why social media works for childcare. Okay. Parents enroll when they feel that they can trust you. So social media shows your culture, your teachers and your classroom and your learning philosophies, okay? We can go to the next one, Mr. Zak. Safety, privacy and posting online. So when we are posting, make sure that you have the video, you have the permissions and everything that you need for those persons, right? So all the times, if you all are seeing me on social media, you see that when I go to schools, I have this service called the motivational walkthrough. So the motivational walkthrough, is when I go through and I’m interacting with the teachers and the kiddos, right? But if you pay attention, most sometimes those kiddos have to be blurred out because they don’t have the permission to be on social media. There’s one now that my team is promoting and they have permission. So therefore all of the kids’ faces are shown on social media. So what I tell, centers to do is to make sure that you get written permission, to make sure you have the permission that they’re gonna be on social media, everything. Listen, you all, if you go ahead and put that in your handbook, it’s already there. You don’t even have to worry about it because they’re gonna do it. They’re gonna be signing their life away. But guess what? You have the permission you need to protect and to promote your brand that you have built. People want to see, people want to be able to see themselves in your building from your post. So it is great when you can use your kiddos. Alright? I do not like when I see stock images. Ai has gotten better, but it is always better when you can use the kiddos that are in your facility wearing your uniforms, walking through your halls to promote your centers, all right? Because you want to make sure that people can see themselves in your building. Okay? Mr. Zatt, you can go to the next one. Creativity content without showing kids faces. So I’m gonna tell you this, I am against not showing their faces because once again, I say this, people want to see themselves in it. And here’s what I want you to know. It’s not about not about parents not wanting, it’s about how you present it, right? And making sure, yes, when you can do it as little as possible. But let’s be honest, who always wants to see someone’s head? No one, right? So hands, but when you capture them, capture the hands on moment. If you can do over shoulder views, action shots, environment highlights and teacher focused content. I tell people all the time that your teachers should be making content in their rooms. I believe that now part of your hiring process should be how are you with social media, right? Because moments that you may deem as well, may deem as good, they’re better when the person that is actually teaching it can actually capture that moment. The kids respond better, so forth and so on. But if you can’t do that, then you need media days and we can park right there. Media days is when you have a videographer come out to your center and they’re capturing the day to day live operations of your facility. So throughout the day, they’re capturing the moments where parents are walking in. They’re capturing the hands on moments. They’re capturing the over the shoulder views, and they’re done professionally, right? Here’s what I’m gonna give you go ahead and tell you to do. One thing that I used to do when I first started out was on Tuesdays, it was called Tip Tuesday. So every Tuesday I would give tips. This is something that you can have your A players do as well. So if it’s the infant teacher, she can give because we’re talking about teacher focused content. She can give and let’s just say she’s the infant teacher. She can give a tip on or three tips on how to successfully be a parent in the infant room and so forth and so on about the one year old room, the two year old room, the three year old room, but that is content, and it makes your teachers look like the expert and not just the babysitter. We’ve gotta get out of showing out showcasing our schools as daycares because that’s how we be respected. Those are the clients that we get, people that only want a daycare service and not a learning facility, okay? So make sure that when you’re doing it, you have professional content that capture these moments from your teachers. Make sure that you’re highlighting your teachers. I want to I’m going say that later. Mr. Zak, you can go ahead. The three content pillars is culture, learning and community. Every child care, social media strategy includes all three of these things, right? So the thing is you want to showcase what is the culture of your center? I tell people all the time, people love to say, oh, we have a family environment. That makes me mad every time I hear it, right? Because the culture of your center should be a culture in which people are thriving and people are happy. Mr. Zak, you can go back, please, sir. Where people are happy and people are thriving. Family cultures causes chaos. No one thrives in a family culture because no one has a perfect family. All right, so start to think about that. The next thing is the learning, right? You want to make sure that you’re showcasing just what they are learning at your facility. So yes, our projects, STEM exploration, sensory play, reading circles, all of these are what you should be showing. Why? Because that creates brand buy in. People want to see exactly what their child or children will be doing. We do it great during summer camp, but it falls off during the year. We must make sure that when we are promoting our facilities, that we are promoting them to a point where people, I’m going to say this throughout the presentation, people can see themselves and their kiddos doing or participating in what is going on at your facility. Okay, you can go to the next one, Mr. Zak. Community, all right? I am a very big advocate for community events and ensuring that when family comes, that we are capturing those moments. I love when I tell parents, when I have these, sessions in my mentorship program, I teach my leaders that you must also capture the parents as they’re coming in. Some days while the parents are walking in the door, stop them and stop them abruptly because you don’t always want it to be scripted. That’s another point. Everything does not have to be scripted. Sometimes you need to make sure that it is a natural flow for your content. So as soon as they come in, catch them off guard, hey, tell me why you enrolled here? What do you like about being here? Because that is natural and a real authentic response. Okay? So share the milestone, family events, parent classroom engagement and celebration of holidays and gatherings, okay? Make sure that when you are building your centers online reputation, you build it in a matter of way people can trust you, okay? What are you saying, Mr. Todd? I’m very big on making sure that your brand colors are showing because not only do you want them to trust you, you want them to be able to identify you no matter what. No matter where you are, when you see the golden arches, you know that that is where that is at McDonald’s somewhere. So when it comes down to your brand, your brand must speak that way. The brand must speak for you when you can’t speak. That’s the colors, that’s your reviews, that’s everything. That’s why I’m very adamant about you getting quality content and not just someone just capturing on a cell phone and doing some editing their self. That’s not gonna work in today’s climate, all right? So make sure that you are gathering the reviews, making sure that you’re getting parent information. You should have a suggestion box that you actually read, right? Some days pull out of that box and read some of suggestions on camera and they get to work on those things, right? Make sure that people know that they can trust you. Here’s the next thing that I want you to know about when we’re talking about building trust. You must be very articulate when you are doing your videos, right? We don’t need stuttering. You gotta make sure that you’re monitoring your hands because we don’t wanna see you doing this. This is the proper position when you are speaking, especially when you are speaking on camera. So make sure that you’re building, trust and a reputation that attracts the clients that you want. Oftentimes we post because we think it’s cute, but you have to always stop and think, if and when I post this, what and who is it going to attract? And what is it saying about my brand? I am want my brand and I hope you all see this when we post. Everything that we do, we’re striving for excellence. Is it perfect? Absolutely not. Nobody is perfect. But everything that we do, we do it to the highest level and to the highest standard possible. No if, ands or buts about it. You’re not gonna post a picture of a child with a runny nose. You’re You’re not gonna post a picture of a child that has a dirty shirt on. No, it needs to be in portrait view because that shows the parents that you care about what is going on not just in your center, but also what’s going on outside of your center. That is brand awareness and brand buy in. All right. We’re gonna talk about low budget marketing that actually work. All right. You can use your social media as your tour before the tour. So what does that mean is and I don’t want to call this low budget, but what I want you to start doing is you should have a real estate video of your building that is on your website, right? And even if it’s not on your website, you should have it where, let’s just say someone wants to do a tour but they can’t make it in or they want to see it prior to. You can email that video out of you walking through, giving them a tour, telling the important things about your building, okay? Ask parents for third party Google reviews, create a simple referral program, right? So if you refer this parent, you get your next week or however your tuition is half off, right? So make sure that you create buy in and you help people promote your business. Never forget that the number one marketing tool is word-of-mouth. Social media just helps us out with that because everybody is glued to their phone or tablet nowadays, right? So make sure that we gather that. Host free community events. I believe that now childcare centers should be doing things that speak to the parents because we already know that it’s hard for us to get them in the building. Well, in order for us to combat that, we need to do things like having workshops such as home buying workshops or credit building workshops or things that you know your parents are interested in based on what they say they do for their occupation when they’re enrolling. Create workshops that speak to them so that we get them in the building. And you know what that is? Content. That is literally an event that you had at your center that we’re gonna post about later on social media promoting the next one. Now the community knows about you. Parents that you have enrolled, they becoming to create more of a buy in because of what you’re doing that not only speaks to their professional life, but you’re enhancing their personal life as well, all right? Your center needs to become a beacon in the community. Partner with local organizations and businesses. Your number one thing that I would tell people to do is get with your community colleges in your area and see what students they have there. Those students are bright and they are very they’re ready for whatever they have to do. Right? They’re they’re in college, so the knowledge is fresh to them. Nine times out of ten, they’re already glued to their phone, so they’re ready to make content. And you capture yourself going to get these things, going to have your meetings with the local organizations. Most importantly, you all, I want you all to get to the point where your director is the face of your brand. Alright? I’m going to the next slide so that before I dive into that. Videos without point perform everything. Short videos perform two times better than just photos. This photos, this is true, but we have to make sure that we mix them up. So you need videos and you need photos. If you’re posting on social media, on Instagram, make sure that you are posting in a carousel. What is that, Mr. Ty? A carousel is when you post multiple pictures at one time. If you’re gonna post just one picture, that picture needs to have words on it. Mr. Tyler, what are you saying about that? If I took a picture like this, I will put on that picture whatever it is that I wanna talk about or what or whatever the caption is talking about so that people people actually pay attention to the picture, right? They’re going away from just a photo. You gotta write words on it and then add multiple behind it. So you can I could take a picture like that and put how you start your day? Slide that’s the first slide. Slide two, it goes into how I want to start my day and give those reasons. So if you’re gonna post a picture, make sure there’s a message on that picture that is telling the people what it is that you’re speaking of, okay? So I need for you to mix it up because like I told you earlier, Facebook likes pictures. However, Instagram and TikTok love videos. Pictures don’t do that well on TikTok. They don’t really do that well on Instagram. That’s why you have to have a balance of you mixing them up. You must put music behind them because, of course, who wants to look at a boring picture? Everything is to attract. So make sure that you’re you’re putting music behind it. Next thing is when we’re talking about performing is make sure that you are you have your pages as business pages, professional business pages. Why is that important, Mr. Tai? Because if you have your page as a professional business page, you’re able to go in and see the time of day that you should post, your demographics, and the gender of who you’re speaking to the most. All of these things come in your professional dashboard when your page is a professional page, okay? Next slide, Mr. Zak. The five easiest posts directors can create day in the life of a classroom moment, teacher spotlight, parent testimonials, learning highlights, and a short video. So when we’re talking about the day in life of your classroom, that is literally you all what your A players are doing in the room with the kiddos. Okay? Making sure that they are highlighting them. You all you wanna make sure that the parents trust the people that they’re about to drop their child or children off to and with, which means that you wanna show what they’re doing in their classroom. But here’s what I want you to know. You don’t always need to show, oh, look at them running and having a good time. That is great, but you also need to show sometimes where the children are being corrected. Because what I talked about earlier was structure. So that shows that your building is also a structured building. Okay? And I’m not saying, you know, where we where there where we are being mean or anything like that, but we should know how to correct kiddos at this point, especially if you’re a player. So with that being said, we must also show that sometimes walking feet in the hallway, gentle hands. When children are being corrected, that needs to be shown as well. Your teacher spotlight. I don’t know why we haven’t been doing this already, but we must make sure that we are bragging on the people that are doing the work. Owner, you open it. Congratulations. Directly, you manage it. Congratulations. However, it’s the a players that are in the class rooms that are doing the day to day work, making sure that the day to day operations are running smoothly, making sure that the policies and the procedures that were written are being carried out, making sure that the schedules are being followed. So every week you should have a teacher spotlight. Now the credentials or the the qualifications that it takes to be in that spotlight, that is what you do. But when it comes out to that content, that teacher spotlight should go on all social media platforms. It should be emailed out. It should be in a special place in the building that gets the teachers the the parents’ attention. You must highlight the people that are carrying the load for us every single day. I talked about earlier the parent testimonials. The best way to do that is when they’re coming in in the morning, dropping off, or when they’re leaving out for picking up their kiddos from that day. Make sure you stop and get them. Google reviews are great, right? Because when people go to research us, that’s just like if we go into a restaurant. We stop and we look at the reviews, we look at the pictures of the food, and that creates the buy in of us wanting to actually go to said restaurant. So the parent testimonials are great. Make sure they’re on your website. If you go visit my website at the end, there’s testimonials from people that have heard me speak and everything. And those things, literally, we had someone that sent in an inquiry one day. And she said, what helped me solidify was that I listened to the reviews on your page of people being so impressed and so moved by your presentations. Now we need to create that same buy in for your childcare center, okay? Highlight learning. When your kiddo that kiddo that can read, that kiddo that maybe can know sight words, make sure we’re highlighting that on social media because now what they’re gonna do is they’re gonna tie that to your it was your school that enabled that child to be to do something so great. Right? Once again, buy in. Alright? And short videos, you all. We, spoke about it earlier. Videos should not be no longer than three minutes unless you’re posting them TikTok or YouTube. They will not get promoted out to new audiences on Instagram if they are longer than three minutes. Okay? The simple weekly posting plan, three posts per week. Example, Monday, Wednesday and Friday. You’re able to label your days, you all. I tell people all the time that you must label your days. So I’m gonna go ahead and give you some. I’m gonna stick with I’m going to stick with what is on the slide here. So Mondays, if you all know, you know I do motivation Monday, but you could come up with something creative for your Monday. So therefore, you already know what we’re doing on that Monday. Alright? Wednesday. What I do is Wow Wednesday. So Wow Wednesday is when we’re doing something if we’re doing something, I’m going on tour. So we’re gonna we can announce what city has the most attendees so far. Right? So Wow Wednesday, you need to wow your audience about something that is either going to happen or has happened at your center. Wow them. Friday, I call it freestyle Friday. So freestyle Friday, we’ll just we may post something fun. We may post something exciting. We may post something that gets your gets your audience talking back in the comments because that’s what you want. You want people conversing in the comments, especially if on your videos because that could that contributes to your watch time. Because if you think about it, while you’re writing in the comment, the video is still playing up top. So you wanna make sure that on free once again, this is for me. Freestyle Friday, you’re creating buy in and creating a conversation as well. Okay? Mr. Zach, can you go back? Thank you. On your stories. So on your stories, you should be posting on your Stories all day long. Every day you should have a minimum of six Stories on your Stories. Okay? Alright, Mr. Zay. For your content strategy, I call this your content day. Please make sure that you’re scheduling a content day. Your content day can literally be can be once a month, but make sure when they come that they’re capturing, as I said earlier, the great things that are happening at your facility. Make sure that they’re getting the activities, getting the teachers, getting the directors walking through. Owners, now that I’m here, you do not have to be the face of your brain. Know people have said to me, they were like, well, know you’re excited that you were able to create your brand before opening up your childcare center because that’s going to be so great. You know, people are going to come. And while that is true, it’s also a con to it. Because now I am the face of the Early Learning Institute when I never wanted to be the face of that. However, that is how the cookie crumbles. If you are a leader or owner and you’re not listening, listen, listen, listen, listen. I know oftentimes because we did it, because we opened it, there’s an evil there. Right? Mr. Todd is gonna keep it honest. But I need for you to know that you do not have to be and you don’t have you ever seen Sam Walton? No. And I work for Walmart and I have not seen him. Right? Have you ever seen the man that the man that owns a McDonald’s? No. Have you ever seen the CEO of Chick fil A, the man that really, really owns it who lives right there in Georgia? No. We have to drop that in childcare where we want everybody to know I’m the owner and I it’s necessary. Your director is the person that is running the building every single day. So they are the person that can speak, market and sell the facility. So you have to train them. Train them on not saying, train them on making sure that when they’re giving tours, because that should be captured as well, that they’re walking backwards because nobody should be talking to the back of their head. You must make sure that your director is the face of the brand because that is the person that they’re going to be seeing every single day. So on your content day, your director should be the person that is doing most of the video stuff when they’re not capturing classroom activities, playtime and learning moments. Okay? The director should be doing most of the content. Playground, all of these things you all, you should be capturing all these things, the videographer sending it back to you and you have a folder. That way whomever postes your content can just go to that folder, get it and post it for you all. All right? There are several platforms in which you can even schedule your content. Instagram now has it where it’s built in for you to schedule content, but there are platforms that you can use where you can schedule it and it already see, you already see how it’s going to look on your grid, okay? Next slide, Mr. Zach. You should not just be posting, your posts should convert. What are you saying, Mr. Tyre? When I see something from your center on social media, I should either want to enroll or I should want to tell somebody else about it. I’m going to let that sit with you in your lap. I should either want to enroll or want to tell someone else about it based off of what I have seen you post. So now the question is, what are you posting? Because with social media being the number one marketing tool in the world right now, literally y’all stop and think about it. You have actors and actresses who we’ve never seen on social media, making video content, get ready with me, all these things. Why? Because that’s what you’re today, right now, things may change. But as of now, that is where we are. And if you’re posting correctly, it will convert. Take me. Right? Yes. I go out and speak. And when I go out and speak, there’s always a videographer that is following me. When we capture that content, we just post snippets from a presentation and people automatically wanna book and say, how do I get to hear this full presentation? So not only should you be posting videos and making sure that they convert, you need to make sure that it is something people, that it makes them want to be a part of your center. Okay? Next slide, Mr. Zad. Okay. Alright. Mister Tai, I feel like we could have kept going, but I know we gotta get to some questions that are coming through here. So thank you so much. There’s a lot to chew on already. Now before we roll right into questions, just a reminder, if you do have questions you wanna, see if we can get to, please drop them in the q and a box. I know we’ve got a bunch already. But real quick, before we jump into that, I just wanna remind folks, if you were here with us at the beginning of the webinar, I mentioned that we’re gonna have two gift card giveaways. One of those is for our live attendee giveaway, and the winner of that today is Mia Beres. So, Mia, please, just keep a lookout. We will follow-up with information so that you can get your one hundred dollar Amazon gift card for attending live today. The other gift card is still available. You’ll see the QR code on your screen here, folks. And if you scan that and take part in our survey where we can just get feedback from you and help us to better understand how we can continue to build out and improve our webinars as we go forward. There’s also an opportunity for the winner of, that to be able, we’ll pull out a person who did that webinar survey, and we’ll provide them with a one hundred dollar Amazon gift card as well. Alright. So, I’m gonna jump into some of these questions that we got, mister Tai, if you don’t mind, and we’ll do our best here to get through as many as we can and provide some answers for folks. So first question, I have on here. One of the questions was somebody was asking about the parent testimonials and curious if you often do video format for parent testimonials. Yes. I think that video format is the best format to do when we’re coming down to testimonials for parents. Once again, as I stated, those needs to be on your website. You can run them as ads on your social media platform and Yes, so Google reviews are great, but because when people want to enroll, they’re gonna pull you up and they’re look at your reviews. However, you also have to remember that social media is the number one marketing tool right now. So you want to make sure that you’re doing both. You’re getting Google reviews and you’re getting that video review because like I said, you can run it as an ad on social media and it’s just circulating and it creates buy in, right? I can read something, but when I can literally look at you talking and you saying it, I can feel the emotions. I can see what you’re saying. But as opposed to me just reading it, I’m just reading it. The video shows everything. Are you faking it? Are you sincere? It shows it all. Awesome. So there’s someone and I I’ve actually heard this before with, multiple schools. They may have policies where they don’t allow teachers to use cell phones in the classroom. Are there other devices that could be used in these cases to be able to help grab some of this material that you’re asking or that you’re mentioning? The tablets. Most of them have tablets in the classroom, so they could use the center tablet to capture the content. However, the tablet can’t be a cheap tablet. It needs to be a good quality tablet so that the camera has good quality and that they can use that content to promote their building. But yes, most definitely they can, the tablets, use the tablets that they have for them to upload information and everything. Okay. There’s a good one here. Someone was asking about, thumbnails for social media and wondering, are the aesthetics of the thumbnails and the picture posts super important, things like color scheme and stuff like that? Absolutely. Absolutely. So the funny thing is I was gonna talk about that, but there was some. Yeah. But the thing is it is very much important because so I don’t know if you all pay attention. I’m going to pull up my phone for a second. And I want you all to pay attention to something. Now I’m gonna show this. I hope it shows clearly. Hold on, let me see what the camera is. Okay, so this is my page, right? Now if you pay attention, in the middle it is always a graphic. Always. It’s over here now, but when I post again, it’ll be in the middle, but it’s always a graphic. You can always see my marketing and everything. You can see my brand colors, you can see everything. And let me point out this. I said that you need to convert your page to a professional page. Now professional page isn’t just in the Instagram settings. Professional pages post in a pattern. And it is aesthetically appealing to the person that comes to your page and they can go to it and they can see it right offhand. I want to show you all one that I of a childcare center that I used to manage. I used to do their content. So this is another one, right? And I used to always put in the middle over here colorful things. And it was and it said what that post was about. So like this one right here, it says not hiring the orange. So now I can look at that and I can click it and know that this video is about to be about not hiring. So yes, on the size of it, it may just be a picture of a child that I did a cute cover for, but in the middle is always a cover and it has the words on it that talks about whatever it is that that post is about. So to answer that question, yes, it is very important that your page is aesthetically pleasing, especially as a business, okay? It just it does better for the eye when people come on as a new person that just found you. And I’m like, oh, this is nice. It’s neat. They actually take the time to care about how their page look. That’s what I’m telling you about how that buy in comes in before they even get there, right? If you care about how neat your page is, clearly you’re going care about how neat your school is. Definitely. No, it’s great feedback. So, speaking of buy in, and I think there’s a couple questions here that are really related to getting started out. One question is asking about buy in with your staff. They mentioned they’ve got some folks who are hesitant to be featured or included in the posts. And then maybe we can piggyback off there where someone was asking about really getting started with a consistent schedule for posting, and it might be, like, a little daunting to try to build all that out on top of their other things. But maybe let’s start with the question about like how do you, work with your staff and teachers to kind of get that buy in and get that expectation built in, to be part of these things? I think that think that is contingent upon your culture. I think that when you have the right culture, that buy in is something that is it just comes naturally. I say that wholeheartedly because I never forget on my team I have someone who worked for Primrose, right? And I would be on the phone with her, we could be in company meetings or whatever, she would always say, I’m about to order this from Primrose. I’m about to get this, so forth and so on. And I would ask her, I said, You really love the center that much? She was like, Yeah, it’s awesome. I think that if we have the right culture, people don’t mind bragging about what they were. They don’t mind showcasing it because why wouldn’t I want someone else to experience that? Now, are there some persons that may have, you know, family reasons why those are the exception to the rule, right? But when you create a culture that really, really, really, really people want to come in, they are excited about working there, they love it. Getting on a camera to promote it is, that’s not a problem. That’s no difference than when I went to the ProCare home office, right? They love working there. So everybody was ready to get on camera. Even if that means I had to coach them through what we would get ready to do for that recording. It was buy in because they appreciate where they were. I think that we have to get to the root of that why. We are we know that they don’t want to, but we needed to address the why. If it’s personal, cool. But I can almost tell you if I sat down and got you out of the room, it’ll be I don’t why would I? I don’t that’s benefiting them. How’s that gonna benefit me? And that’s the that’s the thing. There’s no buy in. There’s no so we have to get to the root root thing because people, when you when you love where you work, you do anything to promote it. It’s a good word right there. Alright. So then, to follow-up on that then, for folks who are really just trying to get started out, get into a rhythm with this stuff, what’s the recommendation there for them to be able to kind of build this into their schedule, to take this time and do these things? Is this, you know, the three posts per week, and building things like that out, what we have in different days? Or kind of what would you say are the first steps in that direction? First, want to tell, I would tell them to, and you all, when I say things, I’m not being mean, but I just be saying it. First of I have to tell them to stop making excuses, right? If I know that me opening my door just as a hypothetical thing, if I know that me opening the front door to my house is automatically going to generate revenue for me, I would never say I don’t have the time or it’s too time consuming. I’m going to figure out how to open up that door because I know it’s going to generate some revenue. And this is why I’m telling you to use the scheduling thing. Because if you use the scheduling thing, then you can sit down one afternoon and schedule the content for that week. So yes, I will start out with Monday, Wednesday and Friday. That’s three days. But if you get a videographer to come in, they’re gonna give you batch content. Every time I go out to speak, I once my videographer gets back home and does the editing, I have at least twelve reels that my media team can post. Right? So now there’s a folder of twelve reels sitting there. So now the only thing you gotta do, you’re posting on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Now the only thing you gotta do is sit down on Sunday evening and schedule those one for Monday, schedule the one for Wednesday, schedule the one for Friday, and you don’t even have to think about it anymore. It’s done. It’ll post it for you. Right? You just we we gotta stop finding the the the excuse and find the the reason find out how we’re going to do it. Right? There is where there’s a will, there’s a way. And that’s how you can do it. Sit down on Sunday, get that content, have a video have a videographer come in at the beginning of the month. Give those reels back to you. Now you can schedule it out. You do that once a month, you have a you have ongoing things. When that when they come, what I call them with my team, we call them one off. So one off is I’m a show you because I don’t want I wanna make sure that you you following what I’m saying. This is a one off. Listen. Get in here. Sit down. I heard your request. You said, mister Ty, why are you going on a motivational walk? So it’s just me promoting whatever it is that I’m doing. Right? So for you, it may be a one off of you saying, hi. Welcome to Primrose Learning Schools, right? We are hiring. That’s a one off that you can keep rotating. You can keep that in rotation, right? So one offs and making sure that you’re getting the content of the actual day to day and putting that in a folder and schedule it. If you don’t know how to schedule it on Instagram, you click the one, two, three, three lines up top and you will see it says schedule right there. If you’re getting ready to post, go down and it says more options. You hit more options and you will see schedule on there. But schedule it throughout for the week and then you don’t have to worry about it because it’s already done. Got it. Yeah. Definitely, you know, work smarter, not harder. Find that time and just be able to build that schedule out for yourself so you don’t have to worry about it and think like, oh, did I get that out today? If you know to plan ahead and get that stuff put together for sure. So quick thing, mister Todd. I know last time we got to hang out, it was actually having me on my birthday, and you surprised me and called out for it, so I know you’re a fan of birthdays. And I just heard from a little birdie in our q and a that it is their director, Lucretia’s birthday today. Apparently, she said the one thing she wanted to do was attend mister Tai’s training, And she’s here listening today. Would you be so kind as to give her a birthday shout out? Oh, yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I don’t know where your center is, but I wanna thank you for taking time out of your day, baby, because this is your holiday. Alright? Everybody has their holiday, and it’s their birthday. That’s your day. That’s the day you were born. And if somebody else was born on that day, it doesn’t matter, because you were born. Alright? I wanna tell you happy birthday. I hope you enjoy it. Thank you for coming to listen to me Go on and on and on about social media marketing for your birthday. And you know I love you, and I love you for real. So when you get out, go have your lemon drop. Awesome. Thank you so much. That’s so that’s so sweet. Appreciate you guys for letting us know about that. Alright. I think we got time for one more maybe, and I know we got a bunch that we, will do our best to see if we can maybe sync up with with another time and and follow-up with some of these questions, but lots of good stuff today. So, for let’s see. For the guess there’s some questions around the safety and privacy, and I think that’s probably a good one to to just address. So there’s a couple things that people have mentioned. One is that, they with safety and privacy, what would you recommend to directors whose parent community is hesitant about photo and video sharing even with permissions around it? And then let’s see. I think we have one more here. I apologize if I’m I’m missing it. I thought I saw another one, but I guess for the time being, we’ll we’ll just see about this one. Is there a good way to help with parents getting buy in and feeling comfortable and confident about the safety and privacy concerns? Yes. First, I don’t know where this new wave came in of everybody acting like they just, oh my god, my baby just can’t be seen on social media. I don’t know where this new wave came in because I know parents said that the first thing they wanted to do is make sure everybody knew how their baby looked, was ready to brag on them and do all these things. I don’t know where this wave came into place, but I will tell you this, you all. We do a lot. I know this is gonna rub ruffle some feathers, but we do a lot of caving for parents, right? When that parent will post their baby when they want to. So here’s what I want you to know. You need to make it a rule at your center. Unless they present to you, hey, this child is in foster care, they don’t need to be on social media. Come on, a question. Of course we won’t put them on social media, right? But just because John like for example, I have one parent that says, No, I don’t want them to be on social media because if they get recognized or if it go viral, I want to get paid. That’s ignorant. Right? So for me, it’s already in my handbook. We are a social media center. Children that enroll may be placed on social media. What what we gotta do is we gotta realize that when these parents are enrolling, they’re not reading that stuff. It should but you know what you have? You have the paper that’s that they signed stating that it was okay. The only ones that are really gonna read it are the ones that yes. And then that’s not your whole center. Right? So if you have a few that say no, cool. You have a few that say no, pull them out. But that still shouldn’t stop you from doing it. Yes, when I go to the childcare center, we that the very same center that I just left and they did we did a motivational walk through. Yes, there were certain rooms where the parents didn’t want their child on there. Cool. We took those kids out of the room. Though that is just a few for those parents. Don’t try to convert them. But what you should do is that when you are promoting kids, promote them to the best of your ability. That way, you know what they feel like? Their child is being left out. While my child isn’t never on social media, I must let that child know you didn’t want yours on here. So you you do it by the same way I tell the teachers about a temper tantrum. Don’t give into it. You’re have fun with the kids that are ready. So the ones that gave you permission, oh, they need to be they need to have the best pictures. Olin Mills couldn’t beat their pictures if they wanted to. Alright? You need so because let’s let’s show them what it actually is doing for the center, how this benefits your child. Because when we do this, this actually generates revenue, which keeps us with the greatest thing for your child or children. Y’all, you gotta learn how to sell it. You gotta learn how to market what you wanna do. This is not just for us to, you know, show your child or children, just for us to ensure that the great things that you are seeing keeps coming in. As you know, we live in a social media world, and your beautiful child has opportunity to ensure that we keep the doors open and they keep getting this great quality furniture, quality teachers, everything because who doesn’t want their child to be a part of great things? They’re not gonna say no. I just use psychology on you. Awesome. No. Good stuff. Well, thank you so much, mister Tai. Again, we’ve got a bunch of questions coming in. Let’s see. Do we have time for one more? How do you feel about that? One or two more. Yes. Okay. One or two more. Alright. Great. I I just don’t wanna leave too many people out, and there’s so many fantastic things. Thank you everyone for all your questions. Let’s see this. So we have a a comment here actually. It says, I struggle with the language and what to say. What will resonate and what is too much? I do not quote on social media. Oh. That is great. That is that is that is that is great. One, let me say this, everybody, turn your listening ears on. First thing I want to tell you is this, cut out arm. Okay? I know you say you don’t know what to say. Before I get into what to say, I want to teach you how to say it. Okay? Cut out arm. I literally once I started being doing the childcare whisperer, I literally had to sit back and appreciate everything that I had been through. And let me tell you why I say that. When I was in college, I would they created a position for me as president. That means every person that came on campus, be it a dignitary, be it whatever, I gave them the tour. That’s when I learned not to walk when you’re given a tour, not to walk with your back towards them. You gotta walk face forward so you should know the campus or the building that you’re touring because when it’s time to turn that curve, you should know I got to turn here even though you’re walking backwards. Right? But what what was important for me was, being that I had that position, my I worked in the office of admissions. My director of the op of of admissions would literally have us sit in the office and give our elevator pitch. Hi. My name is Taeem Clark. I am a freshman here at Voorhees College. I think that you should come to Voorhees College because of the small classroom sizes. Our professors genuinely care about us. They’re not just giving us book information. They’re sitting down and preparing us for corporate America. So if you really wanna finish your degree, knowing that when you step out into the world, you have the training and the knowledge that backs you up. Come see me because I’m ready to get you enrolled at Fort Heath College. I had to perfect that without saying, because when you do it, I think you should enroll it out for childcare center because, the kids love That’s that you’re not secure. You’re not secure in what you’re saying. So first, you need to get in the mirror and you need to practice it. Because if you practice it, then what you’re what you’re saying will come. Now, this is what I had to learn about what to say. I literally had to learn from my media team that there is a gift and I had it. Alright? I I had to learn that because in my brain, I could not understand why people fumble over words. In my brain, this is what I thought. If I go to Mr. Zach and I ask Mr. Zach about ProCare, he should be able to just go. Because I didn’t ask him about climbing Mount Everest, I asked him about ProCare. I believe that what people have to do is get out of your head. Stop thinking like, oh my god, somebody’s gonna see me. I gotta be perfect. I gotta no. If someone walks up to you and ask you about your program, you should, at the drop of a dime, be able to say, yes. We’re located at seven thirty seven thirty It is amazing. We offer such. We offer this. We offer that. Be sure to click the link in our bio to fill out our form later. You’re talking about your facility. You’re not talking about the facility down the road. You’re not trying to think about what they’re doing and how I need to beat them. You’re thinking about your facility, how dynamic it is. Talk about it. Talk about it as if you’re talking to your best friend. Get out of your head. People ask me all the time, how can you talk about it? Because I love it. So you can ask me, I’m on the elevator something about it and I’m gonna go in and be like, oh my god, I’m so sorry. I just went out a whole rabbit hole. You shouldn’t ask me that. Because it’s about something that I love. Now if you ask me something about fixing a car, when you know where to start. But if you ask me something about childcare, I do it. So for me, I don’t rest in trying to be right. I rest in making sure that I’m getting out what I need to get out. I’m saying what I need to say, and what I’m saying is representing me and the brand to the highest level possible. I know what I’m gonna say because I already know what I have to do. And I believe in what I have to do. That’s very important. In order for you to sell something, you got to believe it. There you go. Alright. Well, thank you so much, mister As we get out of here, just real quick, is there anything you wanna share or let them folks know about? There’s some folks who would love to be able to follow you. I see some folks even asking how do we get to mister Tai to come out to our center? So there’s some folks asking about that. What would you say to them? Absolutely. First, again, thank you all so much. Thank you all so much for wanting me to come to your center and taking time out of your day today to listen to me present on this topic. As of now you all, there are several ways that you can, get to see me as this is my farewell year. I’m wrapping up this part of the Child Can Whisperer, doing public speaking as much, let me say that. But on our website there is tour, I’m going on tour. So I’ll be in Kansas City, California, Atlanta, Houston, some other places. So you can go and get, secure your spots at that. I’m gonna let you all know here first that, we are considering adding more cities because the tour, people are really, really coming out. But if you want me to come to your city, I mean to your center and do a professional development or a keynote message, Once again, all of that is on the website and the website is theempowerment. Agency. That’s what it is, www.theempowerment. Agency, and you can find everything you need on the website. You can follow me on all social media platforms at thechildcarewhisperer or the business page because that is my brand page theempowermentagency on all social media platforms. If you get to one faster than the other one, just click the link in the bios, and they take you to both the website and the other page. Okay? Awesome. Well, thank you, mister Tai. Always a pleasure. You always bring the heat, bring the energy, and we love it. And we just love you for joining us and just, again, just all the amazing insights that you have. And we just wish you well as you are building out your childcare center at the Early Learning Institute. Very exciting. And thank you, everyone, who joined us today. So thank you so much for all that you do. It is invaluable, the work that you put forth every day. So, thank you, everyone. That’s all for us today. We hope to catch you again during our next one. Have a great day. Thank you. Bye bye.
